Here is a project to do with your kids or with a friend.
I'm getting into the Christmas spirit a little early so you will have time to gather
needed materials and still have time to make some wonderful crafts for Christmas.
Just as the Wise men from the East followed a star to the door of a house in Bethlehem, so shall your guests to come to your door.
You can make this into garland also by hot gluing it to gold star wire.
Supplies
Card board (cereal boxes will work)
bold marker
scissors and/or box cutter
leftover wrapping paper or gold and silver foils
white school glue
hot glue & gun (optional)
Star pattern (Star of David would be cool, Jesus was Jewish)
** A cookie cutter would be fine for tracing stars **
Gold spray paint (or matching color)
Ribbon for hanging the wreath
Directions
First, trace and cut out a circle wreath 18" diam. outside - 16" diam. inside
The circle should be 2" width around to make wreath strong.
Next, trace 25-30 stars (3"-5" vary the sizes) on card board.
(enough to cover circle plus extra to layer)
Cut out stars.
We'll continue this project tomorrow...
