You may be wondering what I'm thinking, but there are meals that can be made Day 1 and used Day 2 and 3 with a few major and or minor changes.
For example home made vegetable soup. One big soup pot made and I had many meals to come.
Day One - Soup and Cheddar biscuits.The recipe for the soup, get it from your mom (it's always the best).
The recipe for the cheddar biscuits can be found on the side of most Bisquik boxes and on their website.
Day Two - Vegetable gravy over egg noodles. Take about 2 cups of the soup and puree it, then add some of the other veggies without the broth to the puree and heat and pour over the egg noodles.
Day Three - More yummy soup and your favorite grilled sandwich.
Soup Shopping list
1 large tomato juice or vegetable juice
1 small stalk of celery
1 onion
3 med potatoes
1 clove of garlic
1 bunch of dill
1 bunch of thyme
all of your favorite veggies you have
2 Tsp of salt
