Smiles while saving may seem to be further apart from each when you first cut your spending plan. What I have found over the last year, that we don't go and do things that had us sitting next to each other but not communicating. Now we go to the playground and talk, we go for walks and talk, or maybe we don't talk but we are getting closer as a family because we are having face to face time.
Picnics in the park vs. movies where you have to sit quiet. Walks on the beach with your family vs. loud workout rooms with no one you really know.
